Job Summary:

We are seeking a Server Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the project’s server infrastructure, ensuring optimal
performance, security, and uptime. The role involves troubleshooting server-related issues, performing
routine maintenance, and optimizing configurations to support business operations efficiently. Immediate
joiners are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
• Monitor server performance, ensure system reliability, and enhance security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues in a timely manner.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security settings.
• Work closely with developers and IT teams to optimize server infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain disaster recovery and failover solutions.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Server Support Engineer or in a similar role.
• Preferred experience in the e-commerce domain with knowledge of high-availability
  architectures.
• Strong expertise in Windows and/or Linux server environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Knowledge of networking, security protocols, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
• Candidates with experience in the e-commerce domain are preferred, as they will be working in a
  fast-paced environment that demands high availability, scalability, and security of server
  infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
